Greetings! Welcome to sleety.org, deerstop’s personal page. It serves as a storehouse for my websites, graphics and anything, that will come to my mind, but mostly used as a fanlisting collective nowadays. Feel free to browse through the website and join any fanlisting you like. If you encounter a technical issue, please drop a line via the contact form. Thank you!
A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. The only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. If you’d like to know more, please visit thefanlistings.org or animefanlistings.org.
Among my interests are video games, anime, manga, manhwa (korean comics), seiyuus (Japanese voice actors), figure skating, European art, sci-fi, books of fantasy genre and reading in general. I’m not a professional web designer, it’s just another hobby of mine.
Why sleety, you ask? According to the Oxford Dictionary, “sleet” (pronounced /sliːt/) means: 1) rain containing some ice, as when snow melts as it falls; 2) a thin coating of ice formed by sleet or rain freezing on coming into contact with a cold surface. Disgusting weather, of course, but the word is short and easy to memorize. This humble collective was created back in 2007 after I had become interested in fanlistings, including joining them and the creation process. I eventually found out that – alas! – there were no fanlistings for so many things I really loved. The objects of my admiration may not be so popular, but I decided to give them a chance.
